Kelly Burgess, Buxtons Key Accounts Manager, has won the 2021 Star Of The Dealership Award. The award was announced and presented to Kelly at the Service Dealer Conference and Awards on 25 November by James Buchanan, Ibcos / Catalyst Sales Director. The Awards, organised by Service Dealer, the industry's leading business magazine, are now in their 17th year. Aimed to recognise independent dealers in the garden machinery, professional turf-care machinery, farm machinery, forestry equipment and ATV/quad industry. In 2021, instead of focusing on sales & service performance, to better reflect the extraordinary circumstances that dealers & their teams have endured these past two years, this year's award categories were changed to reflect the hard work everyone has put in during this time - both within their businesses but also in their communities.

Whether you're concerned about your Lawnmower, Chainsaw, Hedgecutter, or Stimmer, we're here to tell you the facts on using E10 fuel in your petrol garden machines.
When it comes to E10 petrol in your tools, there are 3 key things you need to know; Compatibility, Lifespan, & Alternatives.
Compatibility
95% of carburettor & fuel-injected machines will run fine with fuels with up to 10% ethanol, like E10, without any adjustments. Most of the remaining 5% can be adjusted to work with the fuel by a qualified professional.Lifespan
E10 petrol has a shorter lifespan than E5, which is why it's more important than ever to store it no longer than 30 days, to prevent running issues. E10's higher ethanol content makes it very susceptible to water contamination & fuel separation during storage. This is a particular problem when the container isn't airtight or is left open and the ethanol is allowed to absorb moisture from the -

Here at Buxton's, we make charitable donations throughout the year to help others in need. Special events we have done to help charities include: Save the Children Christmas jumper day, an open day supporting B.A.C.A (Bikers against child abuse), bake sale for Abbie’s Army, and many more. However, we want to do more for our environment and the wildlife that lives in it.
Our managing director Neale is passionate about how we can help the environment and wanted to do more for it. We researched charities around the UK and we found The Woodland Trust. We decided this was the perfect charity for us to support this year. So we decided for every 2-Stroke machine we sell on our website and in-store we will donate a percentage of that to The Woodland Trust. At the end of each month, we will make that donation.
For 2020 we raised a total of £1311.00

The event, supported by the Arbor Day Foundation (US) and the Mersey Forest, was a huge celebration of trees, those that work with trees (arborists), and recognition of a hugely important global industry. Although there is a UK National Tree Week, focusing specifically on planting initiatives, no official day celebrates all things arboriculture.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="2/3"][vc_column_text]The day featured a number of VIP guests from as far afield as Gibraltar and Italy, major industry guest speakers, a tree climbing demonstration, as well as an official tree planting event at the centre of the College campus to mark the occasion. Work is already well underway on a new woodland area which is being created on campus, called ‘Arbor Day Wood’.
It’s hoped that the day will now become an annual event.

Honda remains a small part of the European car market with less than 1% share. However, it has large brand recognition for mowers and generators.
I bet you are wondering how they made this mower so fast. Well here’s how they did it. They took a 999cc four-cylinder engine from a Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade SP motorcycle and replaced the 2622 lawn tractor's engine with it. Giving it 189 horsepower at 13,000 rpm. To qualify for the Guinness World Fastest Mower it still needs to be able to cut grass, which it does from slight revisions to

How to stop the humble hedgehog from disappearing from British gardens and countryside forever.
When the humble hedgehog was crowned “Britain’s national species” in a BBC Wildlife Magazine poll and “Britain’s favourite mammal” in a Royal Society of Biology poll, no doubt, sentimentalised memories of Beatrix Potter’s The Tale of Mrs Tiggy-Winkle, played a role in swaying public opinion.
Ecologist and author Hugh Warwick explained how:
"Beatrix Potter managed to sprinkle some magic over the hedgehog, transforming it into the irresisti
