There are 4 main questions that you will need to answer:
- What size is your lawn?
- Do you want Petrol, Electric or Battery powered?
- Do you want your mower to collect grass?
- Do you want stripes on your lawn?
Small Lawn 0-500 m²
Electric mowers are ideal for smaller lawns as they are lightweight and easy to maintain, they are also some of the cheapest on the market. You will need to consider the length of the cable & where you will plug it in; it will need to reach from your socket to the end of your lawn. View Electric Mowers
Depending on your preference & budget, you might consider a battery or petrol mowers. While these may be more expensive, they tend to come with higher build quality, longer lifespan, & of course much greater freedom.
Li-ion cordless mowers share much of the same low maintenance & lightweight construction as corded mowers, with the added benefit of complete freedom. An added benefit, particularly for small, urban/city lawns, is lower noise levels, keeping your neighbours much happier. View Battery Mowers
Petrol mowers also benefit from greater freedom, & often higher build quality. Remember fuel & maintenance costs on petrol machines are usually greater than electric. View Petrol Mowers
Push lawn mowers are recommended for most smaller lawns as they are cheaper, and usually cutting time is not long enough for self-propulsion to be necessary. View

Marlow Ropes first introduced their Eco-Conscious 100% Recycled Blue Ocean rope as a Dockline back in November 2018 at the METS Trade Exhibition in 2018.
As world leaders in the Leisure Marine industry Marlow were the first to produce a ‘technically better’ environmentally conscious innovation which is the BLUE OCEAN DOCKLINE made using 100% recycled waste plastic bottles.
Every day more than 16 million plastic bottles end up in landfills in the UK alone, and this latest innovation from Marlow uses their engineering expertise to make an environmental difference; through the development of a high-quality premium rope.
Reusing, repurposing and recycling are key areas of Marlow’s environmental policy, and this latest product development aims to highlight the importance of these actions to help reduce marine plastic pollution. As a manufacturing company within the marine industry, Marlow knows only too well about the impact that plastic materials can have on the environment and ensures that their impact is kept to a minimum, as managing director Jon Mitchell explains: “Like many progressive organisations, we are extremely conscious of our environmental impact and ensure that both our manufacturing and waste management systems are in line with our environmental policy which reinforces our recycle, reuse and repurpose education mission.
Marlow ropes are made to the highest of standards using quality materials such as Dyneema® which is well known for its green strength, and whilst they are made from plastic polymers, they are not single use items and they equip their customers and end-users with technical knowledge to help maximise the rope’s performance and extend their life so that as little of them as possible end up in landfill or as marine litter. When the ropes do eventually need replacing, there are

The highly anticipated Arborflex trousers are out now and available to buy. They were first introduced in 2018 at the APF Show.
Arborflex has been designed to give you a multitude of trouser options to suit a variety of applications. Combine your choice of skin with the base to suit the required level of protection and performance.
What is the problem with current trousers on the market?
Some segments of the market work in different working conditions (weather variations, or safety requirements) which require them to have multiple pairs of trousers, leading to unnecessary expenses.
The objective of this product launch is to be a solution to the market that will allow every chainsaw user to have the correct trousers for any job.
Advantages of Arborflex system:
> Allows the user to have a number of different skins to suit different working conditions. (weather variations or safety requirements)
> If needed the skins can be changed within minutes on the job site, without having to take off the base layer.
> Drying time after wash will be greatly reduced.
> The base layer class protection tag on the back of the trousers will allow users, and health & safety officer to identify the level of protection at a glance.
> If the protection is ever cut into, the user will be able to tell instantly, as the coloured material will be pulled out.
3 Levels of Protection
Type A – Front leg protection only. Most suitable for groundwork.
Type B – Front leg and lower back leg protection. More lightweight tro

Here at Buxton's, we make charitable donations throughout the year to help others in need. Special events we have done to help charities include: Save the Children Christmas jumper day, an open day supporting B.A.C.A (Bikers against child abuse), bake sale for Abbie’s Army, and many more. However, we want to do more for our environment and the wildlife that lives in it.
Our managing director Neale is passionate about how we can help the environment and wanted to do more for it. We researched charities around the UK and we found The Woodland Trust. We decided this was the perfect charity for us to support this year. So we decided for every 2-Stroke machine we sell on our website and in-store we will donate a percentage of that to The Woodland Trust. At the end of each month, we will make that donation.
For 2020 we raised a total of £1311.00
You can also help them by donating directly to them on their website or get involved with their events. Click here.
You can also see some testimonials on their website showing you where that money has gone and how it helped. Click Here.
On their website they even sell all types of trees. Ranging from an oak to a Crab apple. Click Here.
If you wanted to know a bit more about The Woodland Trust here are a few facts about where th

The event, supported by the Arbor Day Foundation (US) and the Mersey Forest, was a huge celebration of trees, those that work with trees (arborists), and recognition of a hugely important global industry. Although there is a UK National Tree Week, focusing specifically on planting initiatives, no official day celebrates all things arboriculture.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="2/3"][vc_column_text]The day featured a number of VIP guests from as far afield as Gibraltar and Italy, major industry guest speakers, a tree climbing demonstration, as well as an official tree planting event at the centre of the College campus to mark the occasion. Work is already well underway on a new woodland area which is being created on campus, called ‘Arbor Day Wood’.
It’s hoped that the day will now become an annual event.
The day began at Myerscough College with a VIP reception, before an invited audience heard from special guest industry speakers including The Mersey Forest’s Paul Nolan OBE, Suzanne Simmons, Trees for Cities, Sharon Durdant-Hollamby, Institute of Chartered Foresters, Jon Hammerton, Gibraltar Botanic Gardens, Ann Selby, Wildlife Trust, and Tiziano Nesi, Matteini Tranquillo Piante.
After lunch and a networking opportunity, there were further guest presentations from Observatree, Luke Fay, Tree Environmental Practice, Duncan Smith, Middlemarch Environmental Ltd, John Parker, Arboricultural Association, Wharton Natural Infrastructure Consultants, Alan Thompson, Arbtech Consulting Ltd, Christopher Wright, Tim Moya Associates, Richard Trippett, Bartlett Tree Experts, and Nick Bolton, Lockhart Garratt Ltd.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/3"][vc_single_image image="1288" img_size="full"][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Duncan Slater,

Stunt driver and car racer Jess Hawkins broke the world record at the Dekra Lausitzring, Germany, on May 6th 2019. The Mean Mower V2 went a whopping 0-100 mph in 6.29 seconds. It also has an incredible top speed of 150.99 mph.
If you don’t believe us, watch it yourself.
Honda remains a small part of the European car market with less than 1% share. However, it has large brand recognition for mowers and generators.
I bet you are wondering how they made this mower so fast. Well here’s how they did it. They took a 999cc four-cylinder engine from a Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade SP motorcycle and replaced the 2622 lawn tractor's engine with it. Giving it 189 horsepower at 13,000 rpm. To qualify for the Guinness World Fastest Mower it still needs to be able to cut grass, which it does from slight revisions to the cutter deck.
Unfortunately, the Mean Mower VS will not be sold commercially, according to a company spokesperson.
