Husqvarna Functional 24 Chainsaw Trousers

Just when these trousers were starting to become popular Husqvarna went and dropped the ball and ran out of stock of Chainsaw Trousers, D'oh. There was a manufacturing issue and we were on back order for one or another of the Husqvarna Chainsaw Trousers that we stock for a year or more. We are now back to full stock levels but demand for these trousers has, as you might expect, fallen off a cliff, which is a shame because they are really good pair of trousers and they suited a lot of arborists.

They are lightweight and made with durable material. The design (I suppose you'd call it 'the cut' if you were buying a suit) is really good and they are made with a 4 way stretch material keeping you comfy. So although they're not everyone's favourite looking trousers they are a really good fit and great to work in. So you might not be the best look arborist, but you’re going to be comfortable and flexible while you work.

Functional 24: Class 2 Protection

On top of the comfort and durability benefits the Functional 24 Chainsaw Trousers have 24 m/s protection (can you see what they did there). So they have class 2 protection. There are no marketing gimmicks or inventive names and they don’t look like you turned up to work in a pair of biker leathers. They are functional trousers that offer 24 m/s cut protection so Husqvarna named them Functional 24. A kind of 'does what is says on the tin' pair of chainsaw trousers.

So if you would rather not pay for clever marketing and just get a great pair of chainsaw trousers that will fit nicely (instead of the super snug fit of some trousers) then the Husqvarna range is one your could re-consider. Buxtons stock Husqvarna Functional 24 Chainsaw Trousers and other Husqvarna Chainsaw Trousers ready for next day delivery.

You can order online or call 01785 712 397 to place your order. Also, don't hesitate to call if you have any queries.

SIP Protection has been investing in development, design and production of protective clothing for chain saw users for more than 25 years.
SIP Protection: Excellence in Chainsaw Protective Clothing

SIP has been investing in development, design and production of protective clothing for chain saw users for over 25 years. In this time they have developed and improved on a huge range of chainsaw clothing. In recent years they have joined SIOEN Industries group and support for product development and innovations increased heavily, creating a great range of chainsaw trousers and other chainsaw protective clothes.

SIP Protective Clothing: Innovation by Design

This investment in design and development of chainsaw protective clothing has borne fruit by way of a number of firsts for SIP protection. They were the first to reduce the number of layers of protection to 6 which provided lighter, less bulky, cooler trousers. They were the first with a flexible outer giving more freedom and comfort. They were the first to achieve class 1 protection with 5 layers of protection and they were the first to produce class 2 garments with only 6 layers.

Buxtons Are Proud to Supply SIP Chainsaw Trousers

This is the first year that Buxtons have sold SIP Chainsaw Trousers and they are going well. Our full range of chainsaw trousers are available to buy over the phone on 01785 712 397 or on our website. If you have any queries, then call the team and we can answer any questions you may have.

Stihl HiFlex Chainsaw Trousers: Now Available in Type A

Despite Stihl bringing out the X-Fit clothing range earlier this year, HiFlex is still our most popular chainsaw protective clothing range. And the HiFlex clothing range has had two new additions this year with Type A Chainsaw trousers and Type C Class 2 chainsaw trousers being added.

Many experienced tree surgeons seem to be turning to Type A over Type C work trousers, so Stihl bringing out Hiflex Type A is great news. These chainsaw trousers have the same great look as the Type C but with no rear padding they are going to be cooler in summer and that bit more flexible.

The addition of new Class 2 Chainsaw Trousers is also welcomed by Arborists with faster running chainsaws. If your saw runs faster than 20 m/s then these Class 2 HiFlex Chainsaw Trousers are a great option. They have the same great HiFlex Design and feel with that extra class 2 chainsaw protection.
