This year Stihl have brought out a new Economy range of chainsaw trousers, but in contrast to that, Oregon have brought out a new range of Quality Chainsaw Trousers, their new Fiordland Chainsaw Trousers. They are a tough and rugged but flexible chainsaw trouser with a mesh lining to help keep you cooler during the warmer weather.
Fiordland Brings Positive Feedback
Don't let Oregon's version of the Marlboro Man in the adverts and posters put you off trying these trousers out. We have them in the shop at Buxtons right now (also on line, of course) and you can try them on to see what you think. So far, the feedback that we have received has been really positive and their popularity is rising. We think they are going to be a really good selling chainsaw trouser and we have got goods stock that are selling fast. They have reinforced Kevlar knee pads and Cordura fabric around the bottom of the legs provide a tough and rugged finish to the Fiordlands.
Chainsaw Trousers that Look the Business
These new Fiordland trousers totally look the business, Oregon have produced a chainsaw trouser that I think will compete with Stihl HiFlex. Reinforced Kevlar knee pads and Cordura fabric around the bottom of the legs provide a tough and rugged finish to the Fiordlands. They also have a mesh lining which creates an air gap between your leg and the chainsaw protective material, while ventilation slits at the back of each leg helps keep you cool when cutting in hot weather.
Currently Fiordland Chainsaw Trousers are only available in Type A but they will be available in Type C in the autumn of 2010.
